The restaurants are supposed to print calorie count on their menus and boards so that the customers get to know how much calorie they will consume from a particular dish. This rule will affect the restaurants that have more than 20 branches in the USA. The government is resolved to make the citizens more health conscious and switch to healthier eating habits. Some people think it is a good idea and it may also help in curbing obesity to an extent.

Some of the restaurant goers are thinking that it will help in making the future generations more health conscious. The restaurant owners are going to comply with the bill as a majority of them has said. The healthcare bill will affect people differently. The proponents of the bill have plans to cover around 32 million residents in it who have been denied the benefits of insurance coverage so far. Hence, high wage earners will have to churn out more taxes in the near future. This will affect rich individuals and families. This may not go down well with the wealthy lot.

Those who do not have healthcare coverage will get in stages. There are special provisions for people who do not earn much.
