After researching work at home opportunities, a startling discovery was made. 95% of Internet Marketers don't achieve their goals. What is the reason for this huge failure rate? Many Newbies simply don't prepare a business plan before jumping into a home-based business. As a result these "entrepreneurs" give up before their Internet Marketing businesses begin making good money.
A well thought out business plan not only includes a description of how you will get traffic to your website and blog, but also how to turn that traffic into sales. The cliche "plan your work and work your plan" is great advice for Newbies & Veterans alike.
The following simple, but effective, "Plan of Action" will result in your work at home opportunity making more sales online and hence, becoming profitable.
1. Consider your customer's needs first. It's crucial to list the benefits the customer will receive as a result of using your product. While features are important, a potential buyer is more interested in the benefits. In other words, what the product will do for them.
For example: A feature of an online shopping mall is that it consists of over 1000 stores. A benefit to the customer who is shopping online for diet or weight loss products might be that there's no possibility of running into friends or co-workers. This in turn increases their comfort level while making these purchases.
Another benefit is that customers may purchase fitness equipment from the convenience of their homes. They not only will save the extra expense of gas since they don't have to drive to a mall, but they also won't have to fight the crowds.
2. Avoid making the mistake of slapping the potential customer in the face with your product. Gradually, build up to asking for the sale. Remember what you felt like when someone stopped you and abruptly insisted that you buy something?
There's a major difference in reviewing the benefits of your product with your customer first and then asking for the sale, as compared to immediately demanding that they buy your product.

eBooks are the quickest, cheapest way to share information, and as internet machinery develops, soon most books will be sold as eBooks. eBooks are becoming more and more popular. This popularity has lead to increasing the number of e-books that are for sale.
eBooks are significantly adaptable. They can be twisted into websites, sent to a publisher, formatted, stored in PC to read them distinctly. They are light and compressed, and easier than carrying a real physical book.
ebooks come on different niches. Thousands and thousands of eBooks are with resale rights. It seems that majority of them are about making money online.
eBooks and other digital products with resale rights are magic tools for making money online. If you have master resale rights for a product you can sell it repeatedly and keep all the profits. Resell rights enable you to sell your own products, without the need of creating new ones. Lots of marketers are still uninformed of the huge popularity of resell rights products. Usually Resale rights products have included affiliate links or links to other products that are related to the writer and you will not have any profits from sales produced by those links.
The most sold info- products on the internet are eBooks. They become very necessary because they get indexed by search engines, visited and used by millions of people each day.
eBooks are very easy to make. All you have to do is to prepare a few pages in Microsoft Word, convert them to a PDF file and you have an eBook. They are easy to create, file, organize, store, publish and easy to sell. The number of eBooks you own is limited only by your hard disk drive, and not by the space you have on your shelves.
Simply, eBooks business is the easiest and most-profitable Internet business available. When you think about it, selling digital products is nothing more than a figures game. As long as you get enough visitors to your website you should be able to make sales.
Selling digital products is not that time consuming, except the set up that will take a bit time; as eBooks should be uploaded to the server, the sales page should be customize also, the seller has to create a listing in the market place.

What makes a home-based business successful? One of the key components that will contribute to the success of a home-based business is respect for time and prudent time management skills. Time is a precious commodity that successful business owners treat with the up most respect. Time cannot be replaced, once it's gone that's it. Time management is essential to the budding home-business entrepreneur in order to make your new enterprise a success.
Success in any home-based business requires the owner of the business to be a master of time and resources. Can you master time? Do you have what it takes to successfully work for yourself? Or do you just hate your job, your supervisor or work in general? These are questions you have to ask yourself and then commit to making the necessary changes in time management especially if you need to continue working that "dreaded" job.
Where will you find the extra time to commit to learning the necessary skills to make your new home-business a success? I think the answer to that question in trying to "Find Time" is to look at what can be changed in our daily schedule. According to a recent UC Berkely Study the average American spends 101 minutes daily in their car so the obvious solution is to use that time as productive as possible by listening to auto tapes that will educate us in our newly chosen endeavors. How about recording or downloading to your MP3 player all the calls that you're up-line, team or new home-business has available to you in their back office for training purposes?
How much time do you spend watching television? According to the same UC Berkeley study the average American spends 170 minutes daily watching television. While I agree there is some quality programs that can help us learn too many of us spend wasted time or going "brain-dead" to escape the routine of our daily lives. Do you remember the reason you wanted to start your home-based business was it more money, more freedom to do the things you want because you hate your job, your boss or the work you do? Then we need to set priorities when it comes to managing our time and free up the 43 days a year we sit in front of the television. Can you change your habits and spend less time watching TV and divert more time to improving yourself and learning the necessary skills you need to build your business?
Always keep in mind that there is no such thing in the home business or any other business for that matter as "get rich quick" or overnight success. If you ask any person who is an "overnight success" you will invariably find how much time they invested in their endeavor before becoming "the overnight success".
Home-based business success is achievable even if you are not a good manager of time, but are willing to learn. So much of the success you will have in the future will depend on how much more you are willing to learn. Learning about time management is as easy as an Internet search for "time management skills or time management strategy".
